Holy cow! Honeybunch is right.

The dog is surprised the shoe laces are tied?!

Wait a minute, Norman is getting smarter? This strip has really gone off the rails.

Must be self-tying shoes.

So he’s good to go.

He will, of course, have this great quest for success while living with his parents.

Wait a minute, those laces were untied when he started talking and he’s not had a chance to tie them since. It’s NOT adding up!!!

huh, there may yet be hope for him yet.

One semester can’t hurt, unless it stretches out to 10 years at home and no career job…..

The shoelaces are probably tied together.
