already loathing the vacation, eh?

Point taken Poncho, but nearly everything can become harmful, so…

Poncho a little bit of TLC never hurts .

I’d prefer a walk in the woods. No safer but much more enjoyable.

It could be compared (in a similar way?) to an amusement park ride – some of the thrill and excitement is in the fear and danger it brings.

For a pooch always going for excitement, Poncho, you’re sure a wet beach blanket on this one!

Sun today, dermatologist tomorrow.

Taking Poncho to the Missile Range & leaving him might be a good choice.

I don’t care for baking in the sun either. If I’m going to the beach I’d much rather go off season (even winter) or on cloudy and/or rainy days. More comfortable, less people. Love the Oregon beach’s, especially spring and fall. Cool, misty and lots of pools, rocks and coves to explore.

Whatever you do…DO NOT take Poncho to a missile range.

Okay, I’m with Poncho here. Beaches are just deserts with white gull buzzards. You can’t drink the water(ocean) and the sun is relentless on the sand. You pretty much have to pay for everything you need to survive over a couple of hours on the beach.

This is a repeat strip from July, 2014 — I saved a copy because it expresses my feelings about the beach perfectly.

Go kick sand in someone’s face, that will them make three things that can kill you.
