I lived in VA Beach years ago and they had a 20 cent exit toll on the one road I traveled. I kept a lot of extra dimes in the car because sure as shooting some tourist would be stuck without any and stopped by the gate. I just put the 20 cents in and waved them on. My Boy Scout good deed for the day, LOL!
Has anyone really been able to identify exactly where that toll money goes? I would like to see a sign on a dump truck or snow plow that says, “Paid for with tolls from booth #4 on the Joe Blow(whatever) highway.”
My thought was that it was more likely a gated community. I once lived in one with a gate like that only on the other side of course. People exiting, exiting mind you no need to scan badge or press numbers, would get impatient and try to follow the previous car through in the morning and it would invariably fall before they could (at least I never saw anyone get away with it). They were replacing the bar monthly.
This race across would save the person I estimate about 5 seconds or less on their exit. I quickly found out why gated communities have monthly dues equivalent to non-gated communities annual dues.

Just a bit radical, but definitely effective. Even Bleeb thinks so. Hey, give it to the alien!

People should learn what a chainsaw looks like. The handle position keeps the bar from bucking up onto your face.

Smile for the camera, doofus! You want it to look good in court.

That’s not what happened at the toll booth in The Godfather.

Falling Down…

It’s kind of a moot point. They just got rid of the last toll booth on the New York State Thruway because now almost everyone’s got an EZ Pass.

Who still toll booths?

Will he have to pay another 30 years for this choice?
Will he be able to get his sentence commuted?

I once owned a bright red Bradley GTII (VW kit car, kinda looks like a Ferrari). I could just drive under those gates…

How would he pay anyway? There is no window in the booth.

All the tollbooths around here are going to gate-less automated electronic withdrawals. Where are there still tollbooths with a gate like this?
cuzinron47 about 3 years ago
Bleeb, you might want to catch another ride, you might become collateral damage when they come for him.

I was going to say Bleeb is a back seat driver but looks more like he’s on the top of the front seat.
