I like the comic that showed the man with a roll of toilet paper. The caption read something. Like: in 2050, John finally used the last roll of toilet paper that his parents had hoarded in 2020. It was on this website sometime ago.
Interestingly, in the USSR of yore they were putting people in space but had no factories for toilet paper, which was always in demand beyond supply. It looks like our current government is heading us in the same direction: empty shelves in the stores, supply chain issues, spiraling prices.
