Back in the Jurassic Age some video stores would rent the VCR along with the tape. And one little store in SF would rent the DVD players before going out of business. The home entertainment business has changed incredibly in the last 50 years with the advent of VHS/Beta tape up to anytime streaming on your telephone. The rate of change is ever increasing.
Seriously. … Yesterday my wife and I were restoring our DVD rack which was falling apart. I have no idea why we’re keeping a thousand DVDs. We only got rid of our music cassettes a few years ago. What’s next to go, kitchens as a whole room in your house?
