Vern should know that Professor Larry Asphaug just published a paper on how a single impact by Theia (the body that collided with Earth to form the Moon) would not have produced a Moon with isotopes from earth. Modeling showed that at least two impacts by Theia were needed and would have happened somewhere between 100,000 and a million years apart. (see Space.com for more info.)
No, the sun and the earth had a baby, called the moon, which is why it revolves around both. Forget Mars, Mars is planning to blow up the earth, because it holds as a barrier between it and Venus, but Venus is stuck in a love triangle with Mars and Mercury. It is all so confusing.

Mars was mooning the earth. Don’t get me started on Uranus.

The moon actually came from the Big Bang. It just randomly came when the universe exploded.
