When Candace gives you advice, she does follow through. It’s one thing to make a comment about someone’s hair and it’s another to actually go to the salon with you to get it done. That is the sign of a true friend.

Two even better words: peer pressure.

Personally, I like long hair on most pretty ladies.

Please yourself first Dawn then please others.

Screwed-up Candace is going downhill and taking friends down with her.

Who needs friends like Candace? I’m not talking about teenage versions – there are adult Candaces out there too,

So basically she peer pressured you

Poor Dawn… She looks like a chicken that’s been plucked and boiled…

That’s why I liked my friends in school. One time we were talking about what we were going to do when we “grew up”. My friend “J” said that she wanted to be a hairdresser. Another friend said, “Great! You can be the one to cut Karen’s hair!” (I had waist-length hair) J said, “I will NOT be the one to cut her hair!!!” Fast forward to a few years after graduation. I did decide to get my hair cut. I walked into a place, was seated & told that my stylist would be out shortly. A few minutes later I heard a gasp…it was J!

Hey, that hairstyle worked for one of the Three Stooges.

It’s only hair. It’ll grow out eventually. An embarrassing tattoo would be a lot harder to deal with and more painful to remove.

Hard to fit in when you don’t know who you are yet. Teen Angst is a real thing. I feel for her.

Did she get her side hair shorn off? Misery loves company, you know.

It is Dawn’s haircut and her ultimate choice. Although it might have been better for her to wait until spring or summer. Having such short hair in winter…BRRR!

I like it that way :-)

Hoping this is one of those moments for Dawn when what first seems a disaster ends up being so cool. I really like cute chicks with short hair. Tomboy haircuts are quite popular here.

Candace did it deliberately because Dawn is prettier than she is.

And today no one would say a thing…lol

Hopefully no one remembers this at your 50 year class reunion!

Stocking Hat: problem solved.

We’re at a point where Candace tried to make herself look like as much of a freak as she possibly could.

She didn’t straighten out until college.

Yeah, Carol. You sound about as sorry as Saddam Hussein!

She looks EXACTLY like Faye from “Sally Forth!” I know she’s still a little girl, but it’s a sexy hairstyle.;)

Not to worry… all the cool kids will love it!

Compared to today, that’s tame

That look only works if you also dye what’s left turquoise.
