No one is born perfect. Nor has anyone ever reached perfection over their lifetime. The thing with making mistakes is to learn from the consequences. Unfortunately, it seems fewer and fewer people understand that!
My “Miss Edwards” was in grade 2. My parents were poor, VERY poor. I never had a lunch to bring to school. This lady saw it, and brought me a sandwich, milk and a cookie from her home. I will ALWAYS be indebted to her. She taught me what caring is all about, and I try to be that way in my own life. Care about others, not yourself.
I, like so many kids, had the same experience as Dawn. But my “friend” was my mother, who convinced me at age 13 that I would look “beautiful” with short hair. The week before school began in September, my mother took me to the salon, where the stylist cut it until it was as short as my dad’s hair. Then we moved to a new town. I began school in a new place with hair shorter than most of the boys. It was a very difficult time for me.
It looks like Dawn went to Charlie Brown’s dads barber shop and got a cut like that given to Patty. The only thing bad about Dawn’s cut is the stubble left on the side of her head. Now, she needs a shave.
We all “wear” our mistakes. I told “everyone” after my loving wife died in March that we are all the results of whatever happened to us in the past that brought us to wherever we are now. I said that my wife and I weren’t perfect just perfect for each other because we had accepted each other warts and all and never tried to change the other one. We knew when we got together 35 years ago each others flaws and that was fine enough to marry 34 years ago.

There’s so few disabled people being shown as jerks in media. They always have to be wise gurus and stuff.

It is only hair and it will grow back.
It doesn’t make it any better today, but lesson learned.
PS been there, had that hair, felt just like Dawn lol!

In real life, that haircut would show stubble sides all in one colour. This colouring makes it look as if she’s partly bald.
