The crew of the Sirius ate a clothed, talking turkey? He’d be worth a lot more taking him around to the late night shows. But, alas, I guess the crew hadn’t had a solid meal since signing on to that space station. But, it’s equally surprising they’d know what to do with a live turkey.
They sure did like him he was the the center of attention at dinner on the RU Sirius. The Turkey people can expect a similar diner invitation for many Thanksgivings in the future.
There are more than a few alien races in this strip that live to be exploited by humans — these Turkey people and the Doughnut people come to mind. Not exactly living up to _Star Trek’s _ ideal of cooperation and mutual respect among intelligent beings, are we?
Oh, well, I just hope that somebody on the station made homemade cranberry sauce (is there a race of Cranberry people?) for the dinner, instead of using that dreadful canned stuff.

I’m sure it’s fine, I heard the crew of the RUS have a guide called To Serve Turkey, so they must be treating him well

Honestly, while preparing the dinner I found the Major quite interesting but at the table he turned out rather dry…
