Lucy leans on the piano whiles Schroeder sits at the keys. She says, "I'm the kind of person who is kind of hard to get to know, I guess.."<br> <br> She continues,"My personality doesn't lie right on the surface...The real me is deep..but I'm well wroth all the time it takes to understand me.."<br> <br> She turns to smile at Schroeder and exclaims,'In other words, to know me, is to love me!"<br> <br> Schroeder has left. Lucy turns to the reader and sighs.<br> <br>

This was adapted into “Play It Again, Charlie Brown”, but an extra line was added where Schroeder goes “AAAUGH! I CAN’T STAND IT!” before he leaves.
