The artificial gravity machine is cranked up too high.

Good eyes if you can see a spider in the dark. In the dark you don’t know how many hundreds might be lurking to pounce.

Aren’t they supposed to be in a space station? Why does it have wooden ceilings?

In space, no one can hear you EEP. Why is the station attic made of wood anyway?

The space station R.U. Sirius, is not built to NASA standards.

I stepped through the sheetrock in the attic one time. Fortunately it was over the garage. I have since put plenty of floor boards up there.

I thought they were on a spaceship. Steel floors, etc.?

Science News November 6, 2021 has a nice big (18 cm) picture of a jumping spider on the front. Spiders have lungs, so they can get bigger than insects and other arthropods.
