DON"T DO IT, ARLO! Stick with the originals. If you try the weird ones, you’ll be lost.

Food is one of joys of life. If skipping a favorite to try something different adds to that joy you’re ahead. After all that is usually how you discovered those favorites. I have a cousin who said he was actually glad that he hadn’t found feta cheese when he was younger.

I’ve tried those varieties. There wasn’t a gouda cheez-it among them.

The last New Year’s resolution I ever made was somewhere around 10-15 years ago, to never again make another New Year’s resolution. It’s the only one I’ve ever kept.

He’s right. The year should start either at either solstice (when the nights in the northern hemisphere are longest) or perihelion (when the Earth is at its closest approach to the Sun) – two actual, noteworthy events that most people simply ignore.

For the record – if you weren’t paying attention, you missed solstice (December 21st). But it’s not too late to celebrate perihelion (January 4th). Grab a tan while you can – the Sun’s only 91,402,500 miles away! And tell the boss you won’t be in until the new New Year

One resolution I borrowed some years ago that I’ve been able to keep: “not becoming a jazz singer in a Venezuelan night club”.

I don’t know why Arlo is picking out New Year’s Day as a holiday when nothing special actually “happens”. Nothing special actually “happens” on any other holiday, either. The earth just keeps spinning on its axis, the same as it does on every other day of the year.

No resolutions, just took down the outdoors Xmas decorations. Depressing not to have them up. I’ll leave my little ceramic tree in the house though although the big tree’s coming down today or tomorrow.

I wish the idiots that use explosive all night long realized this. Nothing happens at Midnight, just another day. Don’t be a jerk and scare dogs and keep people awake half the night.

I liked the white cheddar ones but haven’t had them in a while. Will have to look into this Italian four cheese variety mentioned above.

Kellogg’s company owns the Cheez it line . Kellogg’s bakery workers have been on strike for a few months now. They were recently told that replacement workers will be hired and they will be terminated .Please consider not spending your money on Kellogg items.
