Were I the sort to be a football coach (smart enough to understand the game & stupid enough to think it matters), I’d bench anyone doing an end zone dance; I mean, c’mon – act like you’ve been there before.
And what’s up with defensive players dancing up and down when they make a tackle, any tackle? I blame Billy “White Shoes” Johnson of the 1970s. A great return specialist who danced in the end zone and wore white shoes. Remember when Joe Namath was the only player who did not wear black football shoes? Now the NFL has nosed in to shoes and requires shoe colour meet certain specs in relation to the team. Black, white, primary and secondary colours only except during October when pink is allowed for Cancer Awareness Month. And on Thursdays when the teams wear their Thursday Alternate colours. I think I saw some Seahawks all in that green from shoes to mouth guards one game. I did see some 49ers with one red and one gold shoe and some players of various team with pink soles in months other than October before the No Fun League saiid that we should only be aware of cancer during October. IIRC the player they got down had lost 2 or 3 close relations to cancer within the year.
When you get paid the money those people do they should be ASHAMED of making a big deal of doing their job. All it says to me is 1. “OMG….I can’t believe I actually DID that” and 2. “There actually is an I in TEAM and I”m IT!!!!!"

You’ve got to sing like you don’t need the money
Love like you’ll never get hurt
You’ve got to dance like nobody’s watchin’
It’s gotta come from the heart if you want it to work.
