Let her go Mom, she’ll be back in before the door closes.

It IS a good idea … to let Alice go out and see for herself what a bad idea it was to go out in her bathing suit.

I love this one. My older sisters’ reverse psychology never worked on me. They gave me such an education.

That’s a “Petey’s about to get in trouble” voice.

I can always make it rain just by washing my car. Now I need to figure out a cause and effect strategy for snow…maybe selling my snow shovels?

Nature doesn’t care what you do or think enough for reverse psychology to work on it.

Cold water in a pool is nothing like the next 10 steps, Alice.

Don’t feel bad, Alice. Even Sheldon Cooper gets confused over sarcasm and reverse psychology and he has a B.S., M.S., Ph.D, Sc.D and an I.Q. of 187.

It could work, problem is, she’ll catch cold and be sick in bed, and then it’ll snow, and she’ll be watching all the frolicking from her bedroom window. Alice isn’t big on taking one for the team.

Whatever it is, Alice, I endorse Mom Madeline’s opinion. Going outside in winter in just your bathing suit is not going be an enjoyable activity! And it won’t necessarily snow, either!
