Resolutions have nothing to do with the calendar. You want to do it or you don’t.

I make a new month resolution to remember to turn the calendar page BEFORE I need it.

To learn Black history, Caulfield?

“Have it dialed”? That’s a new one on me. What’s it mean?

Oh, wait. Never mind. UrbanDictionary.com has it.

In other words, “Everyone sucks except me.”

Short months are easier.

I have a feeling Caulfield has day to day resolutions.

I figure even if I don’t hew to a resolution all the way to final date, I’m still better off than if I didn’t bother.

That’s not a bad idea; month-by-month resolutions are probably more achievable. It’s long enough to establish habits, but short enough to be manageable — and short enough that it’s not too big a deal to refactor on the next month if you weren’t able to achieve this month’s goal.

Sort of like Agile development — plan your work in sprints, not start-to-finish.

As one ages, resolving something day-by-day become the norm.

yeah, you have a better chance of keeping them for 28 days /29days in a leap year than 30 or 31 days.

Good grief. Don’t tear a rotator cuff patting yourselves on the back there, local ubermensches.

I can see why some people are seeing elitism in this particular strip*, but what I’m seeing in Frazz’s comment is sarcasm.

Most of the time when people make such comments here I simply don’t see it.
