With no Vanna White, as Verne says “What is the Point?”
Wordle sounds a lot like the old Mastermind© game, where you had to logically deduce what color pins were in which hole. But without the logic part.
Soon to be part of the NY Times organization.
She’s 64.
Vanna White is really getting on in years. It’s hard for me to imagine what she looked like in her youth.
Pretty much the same as the game app Qiktionary, which has been around for 5 years or more.

I like the toad!
I seem to remember Wheel of Fortune with Chuck Woolery and a different person to turn letters (don’t remember her name.)
Wondering if the green one is a toad or a frog, and hoping we’ll find out.
Just my opinion, Vanna is attractive, but she’s not all that. Letter turning could be automated with no problem.
It’s really MasterMind® with words instead of colored pegs.
I have learned that, sometimes, a short attention span is beneficial.
New character or just visiting?
I do get the impression that this fad will be a total flash in the pan. Unlike Sudoku, it takes about 20 seconds; then you have to wait until tomorrow.
I can remember when my 50+ son was a teenager and he had posters on the walls of his room. Vanna was right up there with Carol Alt (I think).
A friend of my mom’s actually plays wordle. She loves it. She says it is fun. I have not played it though.
