Could this “planet” be the one place where they boldly go where no human or unicorn has ever gone before?

Irrelevant to the above comic, but I’ve been thinking about the upcoming Nickelodeon series, and comparing it to another upcoming Nickelodeon comic strip adaptation: Big Nate.

If the time span between BN’s announcement and release is similar to P&HU’s, we should be getting the P&HU cast announcement this April (hopefully Jane Krakowski plays Marigold, since that’s the voice Dana pictures), followed by a trailer in May, and a premiere in June.

My biggest concern for the series is how it’s animated. I REALLY hope it’s 2D. Big Nate will be CGI, but it looks fine (at least to me) due to being a pretty simplistic style; I don’t know if Phoebe and Marigold will look as appealing in 3D, at least on a television budget.

Also, I saw the Big Nate clip of the butt cheek song, which was even grosser than it sounds. I REALLY hope the P&HU series doesn’t resort to that kind of toilet humor.

I mean in all fair ness some times you should do what your friend wants to do but I imagine unicorn games are just “Eat grass and oats and talk about how amazing you are”

I love the recent expressions. @DS, i’m always really impressed by how many different expressions come from the relatively simple feature lines.

Maybe in a dimension over a planet.

Now I can’t look at this opening the same way knowing this is the storyline where Marigold goes missing for weeks.
