Looks like the intended implication is that the woman is like a dog in heat.

Bitch a female dog, also someone who is a garrulous protestor.

Words describe so none can be “bad” they can only explain. Magical thinking makes them “bad”.

But of course, Cerberus (or, as I prefer, Kerberos).

Trouble is, most of us who speak the words are not dogs….

Try to sneak past a bitch who thinks you mean harm to her pups and you’ll find out how it became a dirty word.
