I would like to think that “government” would have nothing to do with it. This is more of a case of pure common sense — or, in Preston’s case, the lack of same.
There is a certain “logic” to the M.A.G.A.its argument.
“If they would rather die, they had better do it and decrease the surplus population”, was the initial response to the solicitors’ request for charity in Dicken’s “A Christmas Carol”, and it also seems to be the self-directed response of the Trump sycophants to any governmental attempts to protect their lives in present-day America.
I applaud ANY action whose main goal is to raise the collective “I.Q.” of America, and the refusal to “get vaccinated” is one of those actions, since the deaths of any “anti-vaxxer” does, in fact, raise America’s collective “I.Q.” by the tiniest amount!
