I bought my first house for $14.63. And it came with a full liquor cabinet!

I remember 2 dollars would fill up your tank…..and they checked the oil, aired the tires, washed the windshield.

“Nickel.”

In 1966, cigarettes were $2.00 a carton at a military BX and PX. I was a college student with a dependent’s ID and didn’t smoke but my Aunt asked me to buy her cigarettes if I visited a PX. Since the closest PX was 60 miles from my college, it didn’t happen often.

Given the way that was trending, he should have listed the price of a prostitute.

Been around forever, still have not understood what my day was, I guess I never got one.

You didn’t need much to walk out with a lot in the old days. Mind you, that was before the security cameras.

Inflation happens.

BY knowing exactly how much, or little, they made.

Since I’m black, I don’t miss the 1950’s and 1960’s. I definitely don’t want to relive them. I barely survived them the first time.

It doesn’t matter what you buy at this store, the cost is $14.63!!!
