Como is the correct answer. He WAS a snger. Katy is a machine-fixed singer. One has talent and one is a fake.

If the clue had been “crooner” there would have been no doubt. Drat! Now I’ll be singing “Hot Diggity-Dog Diggity” all day long!

How is Katy, again? Perry’s grand daughter, or somethin’?

Was waiting in an airport once and a young lady sitting a couple seats over let out a big moan and stated “This crossword puzzle is impossible!” I asked how so? She said seven letter word for “renown dancer Fred ..” I replied “Astaire” and she said “Who is he?”

Once I away two pictures of them side-by-side, I never had that trouble again. :)

Maybe if the Plugger is 80. I am 70 (12 when the Beatles arrived) and would flee the room when my mother would put a Perry Como on the stereo, usually at Xmas. Actually a Plugger would more likely come up with Steve Perry.
