Wow, what an imagination these girls and Snoopy have. When I was their age, I imagined a rifle from a stick, but never a Sopwith Camel from a doghouse.
Since Peppermint Patty and Marcie are in Tulsa, Oklahoma – How far is Tulsa from Oklahoma City, home to were a federal building was damaged in April 1995?
When I was a lot younger and read these comic strips, I don’t think I commented or criticized the people in this strip or the strip itself. The idea of this comic strip was to take your mind off of reality and live in a fantasy world for a while. If you want reality, then read Mary Worth.
Dancing, not something I look for in either a hotel or motel. But maybe they do. Though they probably oughta make sure this isn’t a no tell motel. The powderpuff derby doesn’t need the scandal.

Most motels these days advertise Cable and Wi-Fi … Heck, some around me still tout Color TV …

Is that sign a reference to the pool table in the basement, or does he also have an indoor swimming pool?

So is this whole thing just a fantasy in Peppermint Patty’s head that Marcie and Snoopy are content to humor?
Also, from the start and end points she named last week, I would think Tulsa would be way off course.

Snoopy’s motel actually reminds me of some places on Route 1 north of Boston years ago.

In a Peanuts movie with Snoopy played by a person, should it be Peter Sellers or John Cleese?
