Yesterday at Walmart, I saw a family of cranes! I believe they are sandhill cranes. I saw one of these birds on my drive into work recently, but it’s really a treat to see the whole family. Another associate got video of them too which she posted to Facebook. I shared that on my page, but I don’t know how to share that here. Chesney and Lily, you’re in for trouble when you get back!

I hope they feel better this morning than I do after staying out until nearly midnight for the Eastern Sierra 1st ever Pride show, complete with a fabulous drag queen spectacle! I NEVER drive at night, but made an exception to support my good friend’s efforts and had an amazing time with a fun and loving crowd, much bigger than expected for this traditionally conservative area. Sigh, I wake up at 4 no matter what time I get to sleep.

One can twist an answer anyway one wants to get the desired results. Chesney is really good at that.Moose spent FOUR hours with the kittens last night. The first time I went in, three were in the bed with him.Later, it was two oranges and the grey girl had her little paws on the side of the bed just thinking about it.The picture is pretty cute.

This morning, he went in and only stayed about 5 minutes. Maybe they were too rambunctious for him.

The ODD COUPLE…Lily and Chesney. That will change once she gives him a left hook and he sees stars.

“Cats’ honor.” Right. You betcha.

Oh dear, this won’t end well!

They think they’ve pulled a fast one, but Annie may very well have the last laugh. It’s odd seeing Lily hanging out with Chesney, but this is an early strip after all. On another note, saw five robins, a sparrow, and a junco while out walking today.
