We understand…

Isn’t that an act of sacrilege to the French? Has Mona been completely Americanized?

Champagne “spo-dee-o_dee.”

It’s not Champagne. It’s fizzy white wine from upstate New York.

If Mona is French, she won’t recognize the stuff poured at a typical American baby shower as in any way resembling champagne. Pouring a little everclear into it is bound to be an improvement.

Always prepared.

A real French woman would not spike Champagne – not even Cremont. $12 Napa bubbles, maybe, but not the real thing.

I don’t know that champagne needs spiking, but Mona should feel free to booze it up all she wants at an event like this!

What’s next? is she going to light up a smoke?
