You might have a different definition of “cooked to perfection” than the rest of us.

So if you have to wait for a thunderstorm, what happens if you want your eggs done sunny side up? Guess you’d be out of luck.

Eggs aren’t the only thing it’ll cook.

I still prefer a microwave: it takes a short time, but there is no need for a thunderstorm …

The eggs look whole. But I think that you might be half cracked. Possibly scrambled too. Instant cooking of a liquid, (uncooked eggs in this case), will cause a massive expansion in an enclosed area, (the egg shell). Causing the egg to explode!

I think you have an egg popper, not an egg cooker, my man.

I suspect lightning will cause the eggs to explode – similar to what happens to eggs in a microwave.

That’s a remarkably ornate lightning rod. I know it is not demonic because Mastroianni and Hart would not do that.

‘Scuse me for bein obstreporous, but a lightning rod has a sharpish point so the electric field is very intense around the point, ionizing the air, allowing current to flow, keeping the earth-air capacitance discharged. That is why they put lightning rods on buildings – so they don’t get hit.
