Knew a guy once years ago, night security manager, who thought being a security guard made him a cop. Especially, as his other security job was an armed guard position. He would show up wearing his empty shoulder holster to his unarmed job. It wasn’t legal for him to carry a weapon in it outside of the other job, but he thought it was cool to wear it when he didn’t need to. Anyway, I digress, one night he got pulled over for speeding and tried to play I’m law enforcement too, with a real cop. He talked himself into several more tickets the cop originally hadn’t planned to give him. Always best to be polite and say as little as possible when pulled over by a traffic cop. Might not get you out of a ticket, but it will keep you from talking yourself into more tickets.
