When I think this cartoon hits max-weird…. I love it. Poor pink doggie. Betcha Poncho will come to the “rescue”.

Why would the dog’s master care about someone else’s smell on his pooch?

Poo Poo has a lot of experience on his own, Besides, when she discovers him missing Droolia will be on the case & she’ll for sure find him. That he may not survive.

I think Poo Poo just had the yap slapped out of him. He needs to motivate on over to the cafe and regroup. Maybe a latte and a biscuit will invigorate him.

“Nature can be cruel?” How about the fact they walk away instead of telling the dog’s owner the dog is out of the purse?

I just read something debunking that “scent” myth.

I think today’s strip is saying that “purse dogs” are conditioned to be so still and quiet and helpless that they can’t cope if a problem arises. And the owners are so used to thinking of the dog as just “some-thing” in the purse that they’re not paying attention. That’s a lot of theorizing on my part for a comic, I know, lol.
