I loathe robocalls and telemarketer calls. I maintain my phone for my convenience, and to communicate with those with whom I want to communicate…the Do Not Call list doesn’t work in my opinion, or at best is only marginally effective and the politicians carved out an exception to the do not call list so they could intrude into your life and time.
Now-a-days, if I don’t recognize the number, unless I’m expecting a call from a repair tech or someone similar, I don’t answer. If it is a junk call or text, I block the number…
Don’t answer unrecognizable #’s. If you do happen to pick up a sales call Asked to be removed from their calling lists or opt out —- although not sure if opting out in fact gets more sales calls. It is a nuisance

Both are annoying. I sometimes miss not having a phone.

My apologies for the diatribe.

Eric and Bill, just include your phone numbers in an upcoming strip and you’ll get all the telemarketing calls your little heart desires! :-)
