“In 2002, Russian troops released a mysterious gas into the theater … to incapacitate the rebels. That gas contained carfentanil, an opioid 10,000 times more powerful than morphine and 100 times more powerful than fentanyl.” More here: https://www.history.com/news/opioid-chemical-weapons-moscow-theater-hostage-crisis
In yesterday’s strip, Tracy asked that the 3 curators be called to the museum, to verify that nothing was stolen. Why then are they at police headquarters? Just asking.
BUT, reception being what it is, Tracy was outraged when he ‘heard’ that Jett and Bath were taking a bath at HQ. It brought back painful memories of the time they pulled in Aquaboy on suspicion of ‘liberating’ fish sticks and trying to reanimate them. (see the 2-part BATMAN episode THE TACKY TRIUMPH OF THE TERRIBLE TARTAR TEEN WHO TRUCULENTLY TRASHED TACOMA/TRUMPED UP TRAUMA OF THE TWO-BIT TWERPY TEEN THUG)
Chances are that Miss Christopher, Dr. Bath and Mr. Jett had hired some group to spray gas into the museum. One thing for sure…such a feat is above Apparatus’s pay grade.

I was in Moscow in 2002. I saw the play (Nord Öst) on Wednesday, flew home on Saturday. Got to the States to the news of the attack. I was stunned. It still bothers me. The cast was amazing. The first scene was mostly children.
One thing that bothers me most was the number of innocent victims killed by the Russians in the “rescue”. The decision to use that gas murdered them.
Others have already asked, and the question remains pertinent, why are the Curators Three at TPD HQ?. They should by rights meet Tracy back at the museum, where he wants them to verify the presence (and authenticity) of all the artifacts displayed at the exhibit! Or, are the curators in cahoots to carry out a theft and deliberately trying to avoid onsite interrogation at the museum?
But it is a relief to see the gassed cops recovering, especially now that we are told how potentially lethal the gas used was….

At least the three curators are waiting at headquarters to be questioned, so it’s not a matter of finding them.

Also, I don’t know if any Tracy commentators live on the west coast of Florida, but if any do, thoughts & prayers are with you. Stay safe!

Thankfully no fatalities. The writers showed good judgement.
