I wallow in my silo sometimes. It’s like eating dessert. It’s not something I do 24/7. Like it’s nutritional counterpart, it makes the mind flabby.
I also venture out and see what other news services are saying including Fox. It’s interesting to see the same event reported by both sides. Or even better what events are NOT reported by a side.
The problem with Fox is that it is so distasteful, I find it difficult to swallow without gagging. It might be the high fear and hate content. I never did go in for “spicy” food. Spice is what you add when you are trying to cover up bad cooking.

No matter whose point of view you read from. The real news doesn’t get reported because all the stuff in the news is meant to distract us from it. Yesterday a young man flipped a Tesla in the vicinity of a playground, in full view of a large group. The man in the car jumped out, talking on his phone saying “Mummy! I don’t know what happened” telling her something went wrong, not that he was going crazy fast or that he was vaping weed. None of it made the news.
And even more importantly, dog-news written by dogs who haven’t read enough enough cat-news to be able to defend it with the approval of cats , and cat-news written by cats who haven’t read enough dog-news to be able to defend it with the approval of dogs.
