Could be worse, your contributions could match Dirk’s retirement plan.

How many Storm troopers make it to retirement anyway?

How will Dirk Raider get his bonus if he doesn’t steal everyone else’s entitlements?

Be grateful he didn’t go with the original “match-and-hire” plan.

“We’ll send a nice one-time benefit to your family when you exp… er, ‘retire’…”

And then, as per Putin, stiffing the stiffs, so to speak…

As your Financial Advisor, and after consulting the Actuarial tables (also called life expectancy tables, mortality tables, and life tables). I can see no reason to invest in any retirement program. As the survival rate of a Stormtrooper is rather low ( weeks or days only). I would advise a change in vocation. That will be $450. and you need to pay upfront!

Economic uncertainty has already burned up about 10% of my 401K plan in the last year. I hope I’m not forced to retire before the markets go back up again. :) :(

It’s best to put that little detail in fine print legalese.

Say, the topmost word balloon in panel 2 has no stem. Maybe Dirk didn’t say it, at least not just now. Maybe it’s being piped in like in “Batman Returns.”

Reminds me of the movie where the president of a union of assassins hired young assassins to off the older assassins about to reach retirement age so he would not have to pay out the retirement funds.
