One of the first comics I didn’t understand had Lucy and Violet sitting on a curb and Charlie Brown walked past. One girl said “good old Charlie Brown” and Charlie Brown thought “maybe they don’t think I’m so bad after all” or something like that and after he passed, one girl says "good old wishy-washy Charlie Brown.
