The scribble on the gloves has a purpose; it calls our attention to the location he’s referring to. As for the scribble on the other guy’s head, I think that is just one of Teresa’s random scribbles to confuse us. Maybe Teresa hates derbys.
There is an unshown action implied by the red swirly above her hat and his glove. If ‘no glove, no love,’ does this imply that they’re gonna ‘get it on’?
If the hat on the right had fur, I’d be comfortable calling it a cossack style Russian hat. They’re good in the Russian winters, except for your ears. Maybe that’s why Russians don’t hear so good.
If size mind over matters, big hands rule…XXXL in mine or hers boxes on the exam room wall. Cram a few in your pocket for the next cool pocket pool par tee.
I loved Classics Illustrated and Mad. They were a major part of my education. I continued to drink from Mad’s font of knowledge after it became a magazine.
Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a frog’s a$$ for didactic cartooning. I came for the humor, the cerebral challenge, and those decidedly sketchy gloves! Call me lame, if you will, but that’s my opinion and I stand by it (slightly to the right, to be precise)….

Don’t accept those gloves. The strange man has an ulterior motive.

Comics makes me smart.

Beware of men in strange hats bearing gloves. There is probably poison inside those gloves that once absorbed in the skin will kill, kill, kill.

I like Sister Teresa’s trademark scribbles. I’m not sure when she started adding them, but I notice when they aren’t there.

Who can argue with F.A.‘s lame logic? There’s a lot to learn by reading GoatKomixs!

…back when the world was chalked full of editorial cartoonists…
…editorial cartoonists…
….did not carry gloves because of their necessity to challenge someone in a duel…
…editorial cartoonists were always good at peaving people off…
…thus…
…no gloves…
…the pen is mightier than the sword…
…right?!?…
…one can not fight injustice with black ink and fickle paper with one’s fingers broken…
…well…
…now there isn’t even an editorial page let alone cartoonists…
…time to put on the gloves…
