Actually it would be turning the thermostat up, not down. Never understood why it is said this way.

It’s ridiculous when you have to take a jumper to work even though it’s sweltering outside because the air con keeps the temperature too low. You would have thought that in these days of cost cutting, they’d set the temperature to the proper levels.

My house is always cooler than outside….it can be 80* outside and I’m wearing a sweater inside.

To warm the space turn the temperature UP not down. To cool the space you turn the temperature DOWN. That is why you’re freezing your poor fish sticks.
