So why disturb his sleep?
My mother when I was a teenager and napping on the sofa: “Are you asleep?”
Wake up and go to sleep.
Turn off the TV and go to bed now.
I’m awake! What did I miss?
Wake up and go to bed.
Practicing for when he’s a commuter on the train. He still has to work on the gaping mouth drool.
I’ve taken to sleeping in a reclining leather executive chair. Best sleep yet. It turns out, that’s a very natural way to sleep.
That’s why I have a couch in front of my TV. If I fall asleep my wife just throws a blanket over me and leaves me there. She knows better than to try and wake me.
I’ve napped on the sofa countless times… now a days it’s with two dogs who don’t get along very well. :}
Miss the warm snuggles and cold feet.
Older people, like Uncle Ted, say that all the time. Wilberforce is just starting a little bit earlier than most…
Now there is some good ole Thornapple logic if I ever heard it.
I was never allowed to fall asleep in front of the TV.
Now that seems like a plausible reply….good going kid!
Saying you’re lying down sitting up is a straight-up lie.
Like father like son.
Smart kid
He couldn’t help it, he was mesmerized by what was on TV.
For some, on a bed or on a chair, sitting up is the only way. For others, from time to time.
Wilberforce expirements with positional possibilities.
That’s what dad does…
If she turned the TV off he would immediately say, “I was watching that!” If asked, he will not be able to say what “that” was.
i get my best rest sitting in the passenger seat of the car. sitting in front of the computer is a close second…
