That reminds me of that one gag Tex Avery used at least twice, where a tourist tries to feed an animal only for the animal to shout “CAN’T YOU READ?!”

Not everyone follows the rules, so this is bound to fail.

For a moment I thought Rabbit put the sign up cause a Unicorn ate too much honey and got stuck in his door.XD

Or maybe Marigold simply did this because she doesn’t want another unicorn getting a special kind of food that she wouldn’t get.

Feeding unicorns might lead them to pestering you for more food or something.

Feeding other kinds of animals makes them desensitized to people and the theory is that with desensitization comes aggression and people may get killed by an animal who just wants the food.

Has anyone here fed a wolf?.

There’s an old Mad TV sketch where an Australian… explorer guy? I dunno. Anyway, he has a commercial for a product called Verb Alert; attach it to certain areas of your house, and if someone gets close, a voice clip from him plays telling you to watch out.

Here’s the message that played when a big guy opened a fridge: “Get moving, fatty! Nothing to see here! Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!” This strip made me think of that.

No worries. The sign actually says “Do not feed the unicorns Big Macs or Whoppers.”

Well, her loss. Now Phoebe can put a “Feed Phoebe” sign.

I like the darker, cooler coloring in this one.

Also, unicorns just like putting up signs.
