Ugh! Wishy-Washy Wusses till the very end! Thank god for Bets.
Funny to see how Tiff now fully considered the place hers, and wanted the guys to fill up the fridge for her. Will be interesting to see Tiff’s reply tomorrow.
Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone here!
.
Greg is clever! lol So who all noticed that there’s an image of the 3rd panel of today’s strip attached to the fridge door??
Took long enough to get around to Bets telling Tiffany the awful truth. And sheesh “My roof”? Tiffany hasn’t this awful in ten years. She doesn’t need to leave, she needs to be disappeared,
Will this precipitate a squabble between Bets and Tiffany? If Bets can stay, why not Tiffany? A very thorny dilemma awaits the threesome. Note that Tiff is in the clear in this situation. She has tacit approval from the Gray’s to stay. Any squabble in the Seraglio will not bode well for Gunther and Bets.
Bets is standing there in a robe like she owns the place. What nerve and nastiness! Irma and Al want her out. I want Bets out of the entire strip. Please, bring Ann back! Anything is better than Bets! She has made me a Hater! ☹️
Les still wants Tiff around.Gunther still can’t muster up the strength to ask Tiff to leave.Tiff took the addition of Betts in stride. Must be tons better than Kip and Steph. “My roof,” is she toying with them?Betts was so laid back with the Kip and Steph situation in the dorm, because Tiff took the brunt of it. Interesting to see how she reacts now.Lots to chew on today.
The onging debate concerns Bets’s dominating personality. Good for Gunther or not? I say Yes – it is Good for Gunther. I think mostly Gunther needs somebody to tell him what he wants.
This is prelude to misdirection day, but for once I’m not surprised that Bets is the one who finally lowers the boom on Tiffany. As Spock might say, "logic precludes precise prediction about what happens next, but doesn’t preclude hilarity ensuing.
A few years back, after the great fire ant adventure, we saw Tiffany come out of the shower, hair free, no makeup, and wearing a nice, loose robe. Man, you knew that there was a lot of thunder in them, thar hills.
Tom Farrell would be quite proud of Tiff. She single – handedly (literally, the other hand was in a sling) took over the entire Gulag without firing a shot. Whadda gal!
I note that Tiffany is getting some pushback (albeit timidly on the part of the guys) about the “my roof” part of her remark, but not about the “hot doin’s” part.
And for Valentine’s Day, they asked Tiffany to leave a place where she feels safe and where she had found two surrogate parents who love her more than her real parents. They are right to do so, but it’s still ironic that it happens today. I hope she take it well, sooner or later it had to happen.
Valentine’s Day. The day we all celebrate Ann Eiffel and all she has brought into our lives. Although, one must admit, Tiffany is not too shabby, either. We ❤️ Ann Eiffel. And Tiffany.
I think both girls and Les need to hit the road. Gunther doesnt need them he needs to have some time to get his life in order. he doesnt need Bets – i dont like her, shes a manipulative controlling annoyance.
“Under MY roof”???? This is why Tiff and Stephanie don’t get along; they are identical personalities. They take over everything until the sh_t hits the fan then deny any involvement. The main difference is Tiff only talks about doing ‘IT’ and Steph does ‘IT’.
now what? (1) will Tiff burst into tears causing them to take it all back? (2) will she get into an argument w/ Bets.. will the noise and ruckus be over heard by Al and Irma who show up? Tiff seems shocked as if she had no idea she might be overstaying and abusing her initial welcome; she seemed to hear what Dez said to her over a month ago but that had no effect. In her mind she practically owns the place. Could it be that Irma and Al told her (at some point) that she could stay as long as she wanted?
More importantly BETTS wants her out, so she and Gunther can potentially have more nights like the previous one, with Les in his own room, and, not on the front room couch.
This will be a complete shock to Tiffany, since the two spineless guys have never even hinted that they want her to leave. Good thing Bets is there to help.
Poor Les, trying so hard to get a gal that’s out of his league. But at least Bets put the hard truth out there. It’s so sweet. She wants her dorm bestie back~ (haha, we know that’s not the reason, but I’m feeling charitable for V-Day)
IF anything happened, Bets and Gunther must have been REALLY quiet if nobody heard any noise as small as that place is. I would have figured Bets would have made some noise.
What if Al and Irma have told Tiffany that she’s welcome to stay in the guest house as long as she likes? I can see them telling her that. I can also see Uncle Al in contact with Tom Ferrell this whole time, keeping him updated, and agreeing to watch over Tiffany, maybe for a price.
Likely Tiffany did not renew her dorm fee for the Spring semester so the university would have assigned a new person to her space. So going back to the dorm is not an option.
“But fear not! We’ll all come to live with and keep you company in the manse where you can return the favor by taking care of and pampering US they way the guys pampered YOU for the last three plus months! And the guys will need a place to stay after the Grays kick them out of the Gulag. Not because of you, but because of me, and GEE I wonder why?” – Bets
I gotta hand it to Tiff, she’s taking Gunther and Bets going at it a lot better than I anticipated given Tiffany had a bit of a crush on Gunther not too long ago. It’s cool that she’s moved on. I can’t help but feel like if Luann was saw Gunther’s new girlfriend fresh from just having slept with him, strutting around in nothing but a bathrobe; Luann would probably have a navel-gazing insecurity spiral over the fact that the nerdy guy who she used to see as her Odious Admirer has a love life and she doesn’t. That plus she was recently so repress until Bernice and Nancy awoke her less prudish side with the romance fiction, so who knows which Luann reaction we’d get from her about one of her peers getting past first base.
Will Tiffany run next door crying, “They want me to move out because Betts moved in. Waaaaa!” Remember Betts, Tiffany let you stay with her all summer. You owe her one.
Bets in a bathrobe means that no one needs to debate about if they “did it” or not last night. Very “Twilight Zone” with today’s comic on the fridge! Tiff’s comment, “under my roof” and the surprised look on her face when told that the boys want her out, means she had no intent of leaving. “Time to go shopping Gunth” obviously must be referring to lack of food in Fridge. Of course, Les being Les wants Tiff to think her leaving is Gunther’s idea! Good thing Bets is there because the boys would never be able to get it out that she needs to leave.
Good on Bets! I get Gunther wanting to preserve the friendship and Les wanting to minimize damage on his end, but enough is ENOUGH! No doubt the poor girl will be considered the bad guy again for all the wrong reasons, but sometimes that’s what it takes :/
I like real chickens. But I’m disgusted to see Gunther and Les, formerly bwawk-bwawking their way around Tiff’s bad behavior, now fully feathered and pecking at each other, shaking in their shoes (not that chickens wear shoes, lol) at the thought of setting Tiffany straight. These two deserve (figurately, of course) to get their heads chopped off.
Wow. What a scream, Bets. Tiff gets a clear message that it is YOU who wants her to move out – pronto! Now that she is bunking up with Gunther against the Grays’s rules, she wants you OUT because you hog the bathroom! That’s all. You are thoughtless and dismissive. You thought the roof was yours? Did you forget you are a GUEST? This is the Gray property and Gunther and Les are family members of the Grays. You are just an invited guest who overstayed her welcome. Not your roof – it’s across the town. Time for you to return there.
And at the final curtain when Greg has thrown all the sticks and stones at his sexiest creation, Tiff will still be standing and basking in the glory of her own sunshine.

“Time to go shopping, Gunth”
Does she mean:
1. Gunther needs to go shopping for an engagement ring, or
2. Gunther does not dress well enough to be a man who has a girlfriend who sleeps over, or
3. Gunther is going to need to buy a new bathrobe because that one is taken, or
4. Gunther needs to go shopping to buy Tiffany something to bribe her to keep her from telling on them to Irma and Al, or
5. They already had a pre-arranged shopping trip, or
6. Tiffany is announcing her plans for the day to Gunth?
