My brother is a Franciscan.. 85 years old.
Old can be terrible as the body falls apart at different rates depending upon your genetics and life style.
Mine is Arthritis. Both hips and lower back. I have mobility issues, but thanks to my Drive Rollator, I still can get around. Next step is a scooter. No wheelchair for me.
I have always been happy to be the age I’ve been when I’ve been there.
It would be nice to go back and have a 20-year-old body again, but I would not do that if I had to take my 20-year-old brain back.
Some of us still honour our elders.
