That is exactly how I felt at my Graduation. Don’t remember much, I was so glad to be DONE! I went to an all girl Catholic High School. Yeah, that bad.
This is a weird graduation. No grandparents. No uncles or aunts. Was Michael such a rotten kid that only his immediate family would come to his graduation?
Ahhh, the days of yore, when we had flash cubes and bars, instant photos (Polaroid), or wait a week for delivery photos. When by the third take you were blinded.
Today it is a sea of iPhones and Androids with flashes doing the same.
I hope “da baddery” died before the first shot was taken.
BTW, it looks like Gordon has gained a few pounds. Guess that, with his independence, he could afford to eat, without his so-called “parents” spending all their money on booze!!
My nephew graduated Med school in 2020. They had a virtual graduation. But his parents were there to see him afterwards and spend time. All properly distanced of course. My high school class had 1000 students. Graduation was held in Denver’s largest indoor arena. We were still limited to 2 attendees each.
I remember when this originally ran and found a small difference from the original. April tells Michael they ran out of film, not that the battery died.
The High School I went to in NJ was so big there were only three years in it. Graduation was held on the football field and you were only allowed two guests. 853 grads in my class.

I felt like Michel at our wedding. I smiled so much my mouth was hurting at the end of the night.

Such a massive leap in linguistic ability Ay-po demonstrates in such a short time.

Graduate from high school is a normal cause of attention in class and studying, not an above average achievement.

Over 50 years ago, I graduated high school and then went home. Didn’t seem like a big deal.

Precious moments, to be developed, printed then squirreled away in a shoe box never to be seen again.

The colorists couldn’t decide on the color of Lawrence’s skin. Sometimes he’s as white as Michael, sometimes darker like his biological father.

I’m impressed that Lynn decided that Gordon had enough class not to wear his trucker hat underneath his mortarboard.

Well, that’s that. Now for life, liberty and the pursuit of money. Welcome to the world Mike.

@howtheduck- I don’t think Lynn Johnston meant anything personal by not adding them.
