    A good chilly morning Vagabonds

Yep, I said chilly, 32 degrees at first look. (brrrrr) It’s clear but with high level smoke from fires in the western provinces of Canada. Today’s high should be 56, a golden day. (^.^)

My doctors appointment yesterday was mostly telling me the results of the blood tests, like my a1c was good. For what ever reason they didn’t take a sample of my pea so I give them a sample, they took a little blood too. Another six months and I’ll do it again.

Good day to all y’all Vagabonds, may God keep you company.

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

So far it is a pleasant day here. Currently it is 73 with a predicted high of 81, we’ll see. We had some severe thunderstorms in our area yesterday. We had a bit of hail in the morning with rain and then again after 7 pm. A former co-worker of Sidney’s posted a picture of her porch covered in hail. We are predicted to have rain all week. Sure does make the trees pretty and green. :)

Friday while in Springfield we stopped at Bed, Bath and Beyond. It was a total waste of time. Nothing worth buying and only 10% off of most things. After my friend’s appointment, we did go to Home Trends and had a much better time. Marshall’s was a bust as well. (Deep sigh) the big city no longer has much in the way of places I look forward to shopping in.

Saturday I was so worn out from Friday that all I did was recover. LOL, I guess I am starting to show my age.

Sunday was a good time at church. There are only seven of us that are regular in our morning class, but I do look forward to the rejuvenating effect they have on me. We have such a wonderful and interactive time! And our service was great as well.

Yesterday and today are pretty dull days. Mostly the regular work that needs to be done and waiting for some more dry weather so I can work in the yard. Life.

May you all have a very blessed day.

    Good evening, Vagabonds.

I didn’t get a chance to post this morning before my prayer meeting. I overslept. (Yeah, I know. A likely excuse.) It’s a good thing I’m retired.

This afternoon I let the air conditioning people into the exercise room to change out the system. We’ve now got a mini-split that has a much smaller compressor on the roof and a unit hanging off the wall inside. They told me that there is not and never has been AC in the two bathrooms, so they will cut holes in the drywall and cover them with grills to allow the conditioned air into the smaller spaces.

Other than that, I’m still resting and regaining stamina. Michael is a couple of days behind me, but getting there too. I watch a lot of TV and he sleeps. (Sometimes I really envy him being able to sleep when sick.)

We got up to 90 today. “But it’s a dry heat.”

    Everyone have a blessed evening.
