Two words my sister and I learned never to say in Mom or Dad’s hearing: I’m bored. A sure ticket to new chores with no way out.

It always used to wind me up when my kids complained they were bored. 100+ TV channels, smart phone, PlayStation, toys by the lorry load – or just go outside and do something.When I think what I had as a kid and still managed to find things to do, I really find it quite sad how spoon fed they all are now. The idea of reading a book seems to horrify them.The “I’m bored” gets little sympathy from me

Make coffee for Adam? I didn’t know that Katie was a licensed nuclear technician.

Look at it this way. Waiting for the coffee to drip gives you time to break into the cookies.

I hope Katy makes good coffee, otherwise there might be a big to-do about the to-do list.

There’s always time for coffee….

When I was growing up there wasn’t any cell phones or video games. What I had was a neighborhood full of kids my age a bicycle and the whole outdoors. I can’t remember ever being bored.

Normally a coffee connoisseur (addict) is pretty particular about their coffee. All Katy has to do is botch the job and she’ll be removed from coffee detail. I learned that as a husband.
