Some quests do not involve any victories. Earl is on such a quest. Unless victory would simply be survival — in which case it is possible…. not certain but still possible.

Squirrels can be vicious little beasts when threatened. And they have very sharp claws!

My Dad was a gardener. We set live capture traps to protect the garden from squirrels and rabbits. Eventually, I realized it was not only futile, it was inhumane. It turns out, it’s also illegal in many places.

Earl ……… You picked the “WRONG” Squirrel to chase …………. :)

Brings to mind M*A*S*H, where Radar got nipped by a dog and Col. Blake & Radar saw the dog, chased it back of the tent and next thing they were running with the dog chasing them ……. :)

Who believes that Earl could run fast enough to chase a squirrel, or outrun one trying to chase him?

I like to see that. For one of our dogs, there is a squirrel that taunts them.
