God looks down at Fred. “My child, Oswald acted alone.”
Fred turns and walks away, muttering “Wow, I never realized how deep the conspiracy really was!”
Faking a Lunar landing is relatively easy as you cannot go outside and see the astronauts on the Moon. With the Station, you can see it when it passes over as it is the third brightest object in Earth’s sky after the Sun and Moon
