Sounds like too much sun will lead to a shrinkage in large dog breeds.

Hot, Hot,Hot! Once my nephews were playing ball with Rugby and he got over heated. Dangerous! Bag of frozen peas on his lower belly, quick remedy. Now the nephews were in the dog house, ha.

What a way to cast shade!

New hybrid dog suggestion: A Great Dane with a Corgi.

I stopped once to help a kid with a big Golden who was overheated. The kid was trying to carry him/her home. Dropped off the kid and dog and told him to make sure the dog got cooled. I guess the kid was in a real bind or I didn’t look mean. (5’2" lady)

Budum dum! (Rim shot), hee!

Aww. I hope all pet owners will have their pets indoors in this heat!

Then there’s some who won’t even give them water…☹️☹️☹️

It’s so hot chickens are laying hard-boiled eggs.

It’s so hot you can wash and dry your clothes at the same time.

It’s so hot I saw two hydrants fight over a dog.

It’s so hot gangs are doing drive-bys with super soakers.

It’s so hot, I saw a dog chasing a squirrel and they were both walking.

It’s not hotter for Great Danes up there. The air is thinner. It’s colder. It’s like being up in the mountains.

Is it my imagination, or is Rover wearing an “I can’t believe he bought that” smile?
