Earl I would stick with your regular clothes. When the pants start getting tight. It would give you a reason to try losing some weight.

Well said, Earl. That fat has a tendency to sneak up on you. (Don’t ask me how I know!!!)

Earl feels that bigger size coming, but is not aware that he will probably get a bit shorter too…

I’ve lost about 25 pounds over the last year or so. If I ever let myself get obese again, I will be furious with myself. But I keep my fat clothes around just in case.

It won’t be long before Earl develops man boobs and starts ‘borrowing’ Opal’s bras.

As long as it is your body and not your head, Earl!

Dressed that way, he can get comments like “Wow, looks like you’ve lost some weight!”

She’s never seen his clothes? Keep it real!

It’s rare that a comic actually makes me laugh out loud. This one did. I’m still laughing in my head.

I love loose fitting home clothing! Feels so comfy!

Until then, these are my comfy clothes.

That doesn’t really solve the mystery…..

LOL! Earl was a Boy Scout in his youth…always be prepared.

Used that phrase to friend who said I looked to have lost weight and got a laugh. Little did he know they were just clothes from years ago when the weight was there.

Earl must have been a Boy Scout in his youth. Their motto was “Be Prepared.”

Wear clothes that fit for now, Earl. You can haul out the fat clothes at a later date.

I find it hard to believe that Earl has clothes that Opal is unaware of. (sorry about ending the sentence with a preposition ;-)

He just got a great buy from Goodwill.

Opal better check to make sure Earl is taking his medication.

Hard to believe that our fondly inept Earl would be capable buying any clothes. I’m sure Opal takes care of that, too!

Earl: I buy baggy clothes in case I have to boot to the head somebody.Opal: How about I slap you upside the head, and make you go change clothes?

Earl can wear his fat clothes without fitting into them properly. I am having a very hard time wearing my skinny clothes. I wonder why that is.

Baby steps. One family sized bag of chips at a time.

The older I get, the skinnier I’m getting.
