They say “we are experiencing higher than normal calls” even when they are not so busy.

Without saying a word, you’re funny, Norm.

Must be on the phone with ATT or CVS! LOL

3 hours once to my credit card company.

I find phone bank menus a source of irritation. What gets me is the message “We are experiencing higher than normal call volumes and all of our agents are busy with other customers. Please try your call again later. CLICK!”

My favorite is when you’ve been waiting for 15 minutes and then you get disconnected. So you call back and get disconnected again after 15 more minutes.

However, your call is very important to us, Yeah, right.

Normal calls? But I’m not normal!

I always like to have hold music playing when they finally pick up… just to sorta give it back to ‘em. ツ

At first I thought Norm was holding as a telemarketer was calling him, that would be a first.

It’s just a bunch of people on hold, isn’t it.

The sad fact is this is the new reality. People really do say things like this.
