We just moved my mother to an assisted living facility two weeks ago. she is on the cusp of functioning normally and insanity. She seems to be adjusting pretty good, especially since she was kind of a hoarder lite. She kept every scrap of paper and receipts going back 50 years. we are now going through the boxes trying to get rid of stuff. She keeps wanting to go home and bring it all with her. At least they have activities to keep her busy, and she has family close by, and she’s about to become a great, great grandma.
Sweet. One of our neighbours in now in such a place. Two of their grandkids moved in to take care of grandfather who is in his 90s. This way they can switch off driving him wherever he wants to go and also take care of the house. They seem to love the garden. They must be nice. Our dogs love them, but they are part Labrador and love any human.

I love this single panoramic panel, Amanda. Just beautiful. Did you already explain the origin of the Little Shaver’s nickname? If so, I missed it.

A very warm strip today, Amanda, with the added bonus of a note that memorializes your husband’s forbearing love.
(I’m not usually a sappy commenter but you got to me today.)

Wonderful family memory Amanda :-) Nice to see 3 generations of any family together. It’s a rarity these days.
