Get an older dog.
Senior rescue dogs are always available at the SPCA.
Hey . . . . Get back here !
Doesn’t seem fair, but dogs have 4 wheel drive.
This is my everyday experience except she tires and I carry her back home. It’s the daily octogenarian agility test. I am comforted by the realization that if I expire on one of these “walks” she will feast on my nose.
Running …. Tis a Dog Thing :-)
A Dog, a tree, a hill or two. What more do you need out of life?
Getting to the age where I walk more like the gentleman and less like the dog…
When you can finally appreciate the joy of others. The spirit it willing.
Floppy hat… floppy ears. Yup, we’ve got a buddy thing going on.
I just can’t shake the feeling the dog is jumping off the edge of a cliff while chasing the leaf.
more time above ground.
Envy – pure envy.
Ah yes the exuberance of youth running past the slow determination of old age.
This is a very sad, but poignant strip.
What’s really sad is the old man will probably out live his young dog.
The old man seems to be shaking. The dog will likely have to relocate soon.
Sure, Dog …… rub it in ….. we can remember when “WE” were able to do that …… :)
My caption would have been: Quit showing off. I used to be able to do that.
This is why I train my dogs to be on leash and next to me. Neither one of us can take off.
Show off……
what a wonderful thought…
Don’t “Fall back”, old-timer.
