That’s what real-life superheroines do.

Hey, to turn down something for yourself for the sake of others? Marcy is practicing what she preaches. Too many people forget money isn’t everything.

Compassion, a completely forgotten trait.

While I agree that Marcy is an amazing woman and nurse (amazing people in general), one act is not necessarily worthy of a “huge salary increase”.

A modest bonus, or more vacation time, would probably be more acceptable. A huge salary increase, on the other hand, would put them in a higher tax bracket…

Why would she give Marcy a raise for something she did outside of work? Does Marcy deserve a raise based on her work and market conditions? If Dana can afford to give Marcy a huge raise, the other employees probably should get one also.
