Daddy’s a liar! Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Daddy tells stories to please his children

Space is filled with giant cats and dogs, I like.

Someone has been taking parenting lessons from Calvin’s dad it sounds like!! ;-)

Dad’s explanations sound logical to me. And I like them.

Leo rules the Sun, and the Crab grasps the Moon

But the lion sleeps tonight

Makes as much sense as some theories I’ve heard…

The big dog’s a Great Dane

Bites the moon like he’s insane

And causes him to WANE in pain

This happens ev’ry now and then (but then again)

He WAX his tail, his belly widing

From flat to round and quite rioting

Each month repeats this weight change fighting

And that’s called yo-yo dieting

Dad stories are almost always fun.

Astronomy 101

What a nicely drawn comic. There’s something really appealing in the composition and the colors.

Cute! Reminds me of what all parents tell children too young too understand how nature works. Any memories?

I love the night sky drawings. So beautiful.

Last night, the sunset, what I could see of it from my apartment was amazing. The clouds were in sweeping horizontal lines, quite narrow, and they divided the colors of the sunset, so a beautiful red, then a narrow white line of clouds, and a more orange, then a white line of clouds, and so on. It looked exactly as if someone had painted it.

Awww…so cute, and surprisingly real!

That could explain the howling.

I love the shading in this one! ❤ And the idea of there a being a big dog and little dog made up of constellations that slowly eat the moon. So cute!
